THE ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN STRATEGIC PEOPLE MANAGEMENT This is the highest achievable level of CIPD qualification, and Oakwood is proud to introduce a brand new, streamlined and professional program with a new syllabus and expert trainers. This Advanced Diploma is designed to take your skills to the highest levels, and Oakwood are here to guide you the whole way through. Are you ready to develop your personal effectiveness and business acumen? This qualification will help you learn how to manage employment relations, recruit and nurture talent to sustain success, and reward and motivate the superstars in your workforce. On successful completion, you will achieve Associate Membership of the CIPD, and have attained the highest level of CIPD qualification. There are eight key subjects which Oakwood covers in eight separate weeks/modules, each around 6/8 weeks apart, so the qualification can be completed in just over one year. There are no longer any examinations on any subject.
HOW WILL THE PROGRAM BE DELIVERED? Post-pandemic, the world of digital learning has been transformed. Oakwood’s Level 7 program will be delivered online using the Zoom platform, live and interactive. Oakwood promises an active and vibrant online experience. We describe our online learning approach as “Workshops Without Walls” because our platform enables the involvement of learners from many different areas of the MENA Region – a factor that enriches the learning experience through discussion and the exchange of ideas from different perspectives.
WHAT IS MY TIME COMMITMENT? The majority of the units are delivered over a 4 day period from Saturday to Wednesday, with extra time given for 1:1 tutorials where you will have an opportunity to discuss your drafts before submitting any assignments. Other modules need a much longer delivery approach. These are your Professional Development unit and Research unit. You will have an introduction to these and then throughout the year you will be offered tutorials to support your learning. The aim of the Level 7 program is to allow you to strategically lead and direct organisations and their people. The course will develop you challenging your understanding and requires you to implement this new knowledge into your role. Engaging in reading/listening/watching relevant learning sources will be expected to support your journey. You will receive support from Oakwood throughout your qualification to ensure you achieve your personal goals.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED? No formal educational qualifications are needed but ideally you should currently be working within an HR or L&D role. The programs are delivered in English so you should be confidently fluent in both written and spoken English and possess a good level of IT skills. This program is suited to individuals who: • are experienced people practitioners • are working in a senior people practice role and wish to extend and deepen their skills and understanding to shape strategy, policy and people • wish to shape people practice, creating value for a wider audience • are currently leading and managing people and practice within organisations. WHAT ABOUT EXAMINATIONS? There are no examinations. Each student must successfully complete all the required assignments as well as attend all the training days and maintain ongoing professional development records.
WHAT ABOUT CIPD MEMBERSHIP? Whilst studying for the qualification you must be a Student Member of the CIPD. On completion of the qualification, you will receive a CIPD Diploma Certificate, and be able to add the nomenclature “Associate CIPD” after your name on business cards, etc. HOW ARE MY ASSIGNMENTS ASSESSED? All assignments are marked by our qualified assessment team. On occasion, it might be necessary for students to do a little more work and your assessor will provide you with feedback and guidance. All Pass results are provisional and your assignment must then be submitted to the CIPD for moderation purposes. At certain times throughout the year the CIPD will undertake the moderation process, and once the mark is agreed you will receive your final result.
WHAT HELP DO I GET? The program tutors are all CIPD qualified professionals with wide-ranging industry and sector experience. Your tutor will apply group and individual focus during the workshops and will be happy to advise and support you. Outside of the workshops, a dedicated Student Support Team will assess your written work and provide you with appropriate feedback. The entire Oakwood team is behind you and eager to ensure your success.

AR What language will the course be taught in and what level of English do I need to take part in an LEORON training program?
AR Most of our public courses are delivered in English language. You need to be proficient in English to be able to fully participate in the workshop and network with other delegates. For in-house courses we have the capability to train in Arabic, Dutch, German and Portuguese.
AR Are LEORON Public courses certified by an official body/organization?
AR LEORON Institute partners with 20+ international bodies and associations.We also award continuing professional development credits (CPE/PDUs) for:1. NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) 2. Project Management Institute PDUs 3. CISI credits 4. GARP credits 5. HRCI recertification credits 6. SHRM recertification credits
AR What is the deadline for registering to a public course?
AR The deadline to register for a public course is 14 days before the course starts. AR What does the course fee cover?
AR The course fee covers a premium training experience in a 5-star hotel, learning materials, lunches & refreshments, and for some courses, the certification fee and membership with the accrediting bodies.
AR Does LEORON give discounts?
