Modern businesses communicate in more diverse ways in today’s society than at any other time in human history. E-mail, Telephone, Text, Social Media, Skype, Instagram, Video Conferencing, Conference Calls – all designed to bring us closer together and make our working life easier to manage.
Despite this, there is very little in the way of education as to how best to approach these varying communication channels and how to make the best use of them – with the result that people develop their own individual approaches and as a result communication can often break down.
This 3-day workshop seeks to address this disparity by breaking down business communication, in all its forms, into its component parts and from there demonstrating how to effectively engage your audience. It will make you a more effective communicator by giving you some tools and techniques that you will be able to apply in the workplace.
- Gain a range of key management skills with a particular emphasis on communication skills and put them into practice in their own role.
- Build leadership capabilities
- Develop management skills using your knowledge, values and motivations
- Grow as an effective and confident firstline manager
- Gain an ILM L3 Award that can be used in career development
