Dr. Khalid Al-Tawil
Dr. Khalid AlTawil was the founder, vice chairman of board, and head of executive committee for Al Elm Company for over 5 years. He is an Executive Board Member Of the International Chamber of Commerce -Saudi Arabia, and member of the Audit Committee for Capital Market Authority in Saudi Arabia. He is partner and board member for LEORON Professional Development Institute and board member of VFS TasHeel International. He is a board member of Trustees for Prince Sultan University since its establishment and a Private Equity advisor for several International Funds.
Dr. Khalid AlTawil was an Executive Advisor to HRH Pr. Mohammad Ben Naif Asst. Min. for Security Affairs; He was the Director General for the National Information Center of Saudi Arabia for over 8 years. In this distinguished role, he led mission critical information technology initiatives which enable, service, and touch all Citizens/Non-Citizens within the Kingdom. Dr. AlTawil has also published several papers in the area of network, security, distributed systems, e-Government, and was a Keynote speaker at several National and International conferences throughout his career, He was the Chairman of Computer Engineering Department, and Dean of College of Computer Sciences and Engineering, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. AlTawil holds an Executive MBA from Edinburgh University, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, United States of America. He is a member of IEEE and ACM. He has completed several Leadership, Investment, and Management programs from Stanford, Harvard, Oxford, MIT, and INSEAD.
