Mike is an executive coach, organisation development consultant, tutor and author with a passion for helping individuals and teams build their vision and achieve their goals, whilst developing organisational capability. For over twenty years he has been helping individuals, teams and organisations in all three sectors manage change. He is also a prolific author having written a number of leadership, change management and personal development books and manuals – all underpinned by extensive research and based on practical organisational experience.
Mike is an Economics and Accounting graduate from the University of Bristol and his early career spanned finance, industrial relations, human resources and management development. He is a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist, has an MBA from Henley Business School and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. Mike is also an accredited Executive Coach and MBTI Practitioner.
He is currently a Visiting Executive Fellow at Henley Business School, tutoring in Leadership & Change, People & Performance and Personal Development on the MBA programme, as well as working on bespoke executive education programmes. Mike has trained, consulted and coached with Allied Domecq, Bank of Ireland, Britannia Building Society, Deutsche Telekom, IBM, Linklaters llp, Nat West Bank, QinetiQ and University College London as well as individual and team development with hundreds of managers on MBA programmes in Europe and South Africa. In the public sector he has worked similarly with the National Health Service, Local Government Authorities, and Central Government Departments and Agencies.
