L4M1 SCOPE AND INFLUENCE OF PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY
Module aim(s):
This module is designed using the CIPS Procurement Cycle as its basis. It will provide those who are interested in developing an informed awareness of different perspectives or approaches within the discipline, an overview of the key stages associated with procurement and supply, and will serve as an introduction for those who are expected to address complex well-defined procurement and supply problems that are non-routine in nature.
Understand and analyse the added value that can be achieved through procurement and supply chain management
Understand and analyse the key steps when procuring goods or services
Understand and analyse the key aspects of organisational infrastructure that shape the scope of a procurement or supply chain function
Understand and analyse the need for compliance with requirements when undertaking procurement activities in different sectors
Module 2
L4M2 DEFINING BUSINESS NEEDS
Module aim(s):
This module aims to provide participants with the necessary tools and resources to evaluate and interpret the various types of markets that are used by both supply and procurement professionals. It also explores the various elements that influence the development of specifications and business cases.
Understand how to devise a business case for requirements to be sourced from external suppliers

Module 3
L4M3 COMMERCIAL CONTRACTING
Module aim(s):
This course is designed for people who are involved in the negotiation of contracts. It provides them with the necessary tools and resources to formulate effective sourcing strategies. It also explains the various steps involved in sourcing and the development of ethical and socially responsible contracts.
Understand the legal issues that relate to the formation of contracts
Understand the fundamentals of specifications and key performance indicators that are included in contractual arrangements made with suppliers

L4M4 ETHICAL AND RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
Module aim(s):
This module provides procurement and supply chain personnel with the necessary tools and resources to formulate effective sourcing strategies. It will help them identify the ideal external suppliers and develop effective sourcing agreements. It also explains the various steps involved in sourcing and the development of ethical and socially responsible contracts.

L4M5 COMMERCIAL NEGOTIATION
Module aim(s):

L4M7 WHOLE LIFE ASSET MANAGEMENT
Module aim(s):
This module is designed for individuals who will be responsible for the whole life management of their assets. It provides them with the necessary tools and techniques to analyze the various aspects of asset movement and control.

Understand the key elements of effective inventory control

Module 8
L4M8 PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY IN PRACTICE
Module aim(s):
This module aims to introduce participants to the concepts and ideas of supply and procurement. It will also test the practical application of these ideas in the various environments that they are expected to perform in.
Demonstrate the application of the procurement cycle
Demonstrate the application of the key stages of the sourcing process
Demonstrate the application of whole life asset management
Demonstrate the application of ethical and responsible sourcing within an organisation
CIPS EXAMS
CIPS Level 4 is assessed with 1 exam per module, which are all computer-based.
6 credit modules are assessed via 1.5 hour Objective Response (multiple choice) exams.
12 credit modules are assessed via 3 hour Contracted Response (written) exams.

This qualification is the essential toolkit for anyone planning a career in procurement and supply. Developed and written using the Procurement and Supply cycle as it’s focus, it is at the same level as the first year of an undergraduate degree course. It’s suitable for those in operational roles or those managing or supervising the procurement and supply function who want to develop their career and work towards MCIPS Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional
Entry requirements:
A participant must complete a minimum of at least two-A-Levels (or international equivalent) or a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate. Alternatively, you will need a minimum of two years’ relevant experience in a business environment. This is the only entry point onto our Diploma qualifications.

AR What language will the course be taught in and what level of English do I need to take part in an LEORON training program?
AR Most of our public courses are delivered in English language. You need to be proficient in English to be able to fully participate in the workshop and network with other delegates. For in-house courses we have the capability to train in Arabic, Dutch, German and Portuguese.
AR Are LEORON Public courses certified by an official body/organization?
AR LEORON Institute partners with 20+ international bodies and associations.We also award continuing professional development credits (CPE/PDUs) for:1. AR What is the deadline for registering to a public course?
AR The deadline to register for a public course is 14 days before the course starts. Kindly note that occasionally we do accept late registrations as well, but this needs to be confirmed with the project manager of the training program or with our registration desk that can be reached at +91 4 95 5711 or [email protected].
AR What does the course fee cover?
AR The course fee covers a premium training experience in a 5-star hotel, learning materials, lunches & refreshments, and for some courses, the certification fee and membership with the accrediting bodies.
AR Does LEORON give discounts?
