Course Overview

It is very unlikely that we will be supervised and managed by machines in the near future. However, to date, there has been tremendous focus on these questions:

→ Will AI turn on us and be a danger to humans?

→ Will AI take our jobs?

The real danger of AI is the scenario where people don’t have the skills, capabilities, and confidence to harness AI to the fullest to make them better at their jobs. AI, and specifically, generative AI, is only as good as the workforces’ ability to ask it the right questions and interpret the answers correctly. Therefore, the real question is, “how do we get the workplace and workforce ready to make the best use of AI”. To harness it to make us more productive than any humans in history?

Imagine, what would the world of work be like if we had the skills, capabilities, and confidence to turn AI and technological change to our advantage. One where we quickly master the right skills to make us better at our jobs, and AI becomes a powerful tool – a digital expert assistant - that does the gritty, heavy lifting. We, the humans, do the more interesting work faster, better and with greater contribution than ever before.

A recent survey by Eightfold AI of more than 250 HR leaders found that 92% plan to increase use of AI in at least one area of the workplace. Subsequently, we will see AI finding its way into every part of the organization.

This interactive workshop will explore the changes to the workplace and the workforce from the advent of generative AI, with a focus on how to prepare the organization to effectively harness AI tools to increase people productivity. You will take away concrete ideas, methods, tools and create an action & change plan to prepare the workforce to effectively harness AI.
