Abdullatif is a Recognized Safety Practitioner, and Expert Trainer with 20+ years of professional hands on experience in the areas of Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Hazard and Industrial Safety, and Sustainable Practices Management; with a broad exposure across diverse cultural groups within the Middle East, and internationally. Abdullatif’s competencies include knowledge and skills related to: ISO9000:2008 Internal auditor, ISO14001 internal auditor, Fire Hazards Risk Management, Risk Management, Emergency Preparedness, Process Hazard Analysis, Industrial Safety, Spillage Control and HAZMAT Teams, Root Cause Analysis, Chemicals and Hazardous Materials, Accident Investigation, Safety Signage and Markings, Cranes Safety, Noise Control, and Energy and Water Management. During his illustrious career he has embarked on numerous activities and projects such as: planning, implementing, and coordination of programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses; conducting risk assessments and preparing occupational health and safety management systems; preparing emergency response plans; conducting many Pre-Start up Safety Reviews (PSSR), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Safety Interlocks Reviews; reviewing and updating many safety procedures and on-site and off-site emergency response plans; providing QHSE knowledge and support for operations, maintenance and laboratory; preparing environmental monitoring plans; implementing and maintaining QMS and EMS as per ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 respectively including internal auditing; and liaison with local and international authorities on subjects related to HSE. Furthermore, he has trained civil defense employees, authorities inspectors, ports personnel and other professionals coming from many different industries on several HSE subjects such as PPE, Job Safety Analysis, Handling of Hazardous Materials, Health and Safety Management, Industrial and Construction Safety, Waste Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Emergency Response, Work Permits and others. Abdullatif has a very strong academic background as he holds MSc in Energy Studies from the University of Sheffield, UK and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Joran University of Science & Technology. Abdullatif is a permanent member in a safety committee, recognized Safety Practitioner and Fellow Specialist member in the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM), member of the Energy Institute EI, as well as registered and approved member by the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission for monitoring and supervising installation of radioactive instrumentations. His credentials include: NEBOSH Certificate in Process Safety Management; NEBOSH Certificate in HSE Leadership and Excellence; IOSH – Managing Safely; NEBOSH – Control of international workplace hazards; NEBOSH – Management of international health and safety; NEBOSH – International Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Operational Safety; PASMA – Mobile Access Towers and IPAF – MEWPS for Managers. His teaching style is interactive, content infused and is highly based on stimulated engagement of all participants.

What language will the course be taught in and what level of English do I need to take part in an LEORON training program?
Most of our public courses are delivered in English language. You need to be proficient in English to be able to fully participate in the workshop and network with other delegates. For in-house courses we have the capability to train in Arabic, Dutch, German and Portuguese.

What is the deadline for registering to a public course?
The deadline to register for a public course is 14 days before the course starts. What does the course fee cover?
The course fee covers a premium training experience in a 5-star hotel, learning materials, lunches & refreshments, and for some courses, the certification fee and membership with the accrediting bodies.
