Manuel Lombardero, MBA is a maintenance, reliability, and asset management professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. As a certified professional and consultant, Manuel is specialized in test preparation and has helped and mentored thousands of professionals all over the world in achieving their professional certifications. Manuel is a seasoned academic instructor and seminar presenter with several organizations. His background includes curriculum development and live online training with Achieve Test Prep, Pearson Education, Study.com as well as volunteer mentoring and training with the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals – SMRP and the Project Management Institute - PMI, among others. He is a regular conference presenter and has been a speaker at multiple international events in USA, Canada, Spain, Panama, Colombia and Peru. As an active member of the maintenance and asset management community Manuel was awarded the prestigious “Game Changer Award” by Power Magazine in 2020 for his innovation in the digitalization of a lube oil program. As a Six Sigma Green Belt project Champion his continuous improvement projects have been recognized internationally, including as finalists for 2020 “Innovation in Asset Management Award” with the Institute of Asset Management for a remote boiler inspection initiative and winner of the 2021 “Golden Palm award” for a gas turbine water recovery project promoting circular economy best practices. Manuel is a Doctoral Candidate specializing in Management with the University of the Caribbean in Panama, where his research focuses on Asset Management in High Reliability Organizations. Manuel also holds a Masters in Business Administration MBA, from the Latin University in Panama with a specialty in Strategic Management, a Bachelors of Arts degree in Management from Golden Gate University in California (Summa Cum Laude), a Bachelors or Science Degree in Technology with a Specialty in Electronics and Instrumentation from Excelsior College in Albany, New York (Summa Cum Laude), as well as an Associates of Applied Science in Marine Engineering from Coastline College in California.
