Dr. Mohamed Badr is a results-driven and highly accomplished professional offering an outstanding record of academic achievements, fluency in five languages and expertise in communication strategies, innovation management, international marketing and economics, media and strategy. Currently living and working in Germany, his educational background includes three master degrees and a PHD granted from prestigious European universities in Italy and Germany. His broad professional experience, which encompasses diplomacy, management, business consultancy and University education, was gained in many diverse business projects for international organizations both in private and public sectors. Dr. Badr started his career in the nineties as a financial analysis and communication specialist in one of the biggest petroleum companies in the Middle East; his responsibilities covered dealing with media and performing financial communication strategies, In addition to the conduction of detailed financial analyses to provide a clear and concise financial picture to high level internal and external stakeholders and delivered recommendations that allowed critical business decisions to be made. Dr. Badr joined then the diplomatic service. He has been assigned on his first diplomatic mission to Italy and had mission’s renewal till 2010 due to his outstanding performance. During this period, Dr. Badr created, developed and implemented multimillions dollars’ strategic government 2 government and UN projects on bilateral and multilateral basis, during this Dr. Badr conducted numerous press conferences and media relations strategies on national and international bases. Dr. Badr moved to Germany in 2010, where he joined Reuters Consulting group and successfully leaded teams for the creation and implementation of growth strategies for major multi-national insurance and financial MNCs. Among the projects leaded is the establishment of the expatriate’s business unit for the world's largest insurance company; the Allianz group in Munich. Dr. Badr is the founder and CEO of Badr Consulting in Munich. Founded in 2014 the company’s main objective is delivering advice, guidance and comprehensive economic and business analysis to organizations to aid the development and implementation of strategic international business, communication and marketing strategies. Initially focused on the DACH region today Badr Consulting has representation offices in Cairo, Rome and Saint Petersburg. Badr consulting effectively conducted numerous successful projects among them the implementation of international business and communication strategies for Euro Stoxx 50 companies such as the BMW group, Allianz, Sky Deutschland, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited and many others. Academically Dr. Badr is a licensed university professor per the German high education system. Since February 2016 he is the Head of International Media and Communication management programs at Macromedia University for Applied Sciences in Germany. With about 80 professors, over 4000 students and compasses in Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin, the university trains the next generation of media talents for the international media society and came on top position in CHE German Ranking. Under his direct lead and supervision Dr. Badr established joint Bachelor and Master’s Programs in the field of Media management, Marketing and Business studies in partnership with different International universities among them the University of Westminster in the London.
