Tim has extensive experience of all aspects of Corporate Credit Risk Analysis, Cash Flow Analysis, and Corporate Finance. He has a particular specialism in the identification and management of Problem Loans, plus the process of Corporate Debt Restructuring. Tim’s experience has been derived from a front-line banking career that has spanned some 40 years. He initially worked in Retail Banking and rose through the ranks into a Senior Credit Risk Role in which he was responsible for the establishment and management of a new centralised risk function within a UK major clearing bank, which used technology solutions to monitor the bank’s small business lending portfolio to indentify and respond to emerging problem exposures. Tim subsequently moved into Corporate Banking, initially in a debt restructuring role dealing with large multi-banked or syndicated problem debt exposures. He subsequently spent 15 years working within the Corporate & Structured Finance arena, originating, structuring and latterly managing the credit risk related to complex corporate leveraged transactions. After a further period working in the Global Debt Restructuring function of a major international bank during the global financial crisis, Tim extensively widened his experience of 2nd line of defence Enterprise Risk Management structures as the Interim Head of Credit for a rapidly growing UK based Challenger Bank. Since the successful IPO of that latter company in 2015, Tim has been involved in risk consultancy projects, as well as the design and delivery of financial risk education worldwide, both as a trainer and academic lecturer.

We have been working with LEORON for the past two years and will be working with them again this upcoming year. The programs they delivered were fruitful and exciting and our organization has received positive feedback from the participants. What our organization aims to do is to provide at no cost training for all the private sector employees so that they may benefit from our offered programs in Innovation and Professional development. LEORON has helped us achieve this goal. We look forward to continuing this service and wish them the best of luck. Regards,
